Glucagon


source sentence: "The pancreas responds by secreting another substance called glucagon, which signals the liver to release some of the extra sugar stored there."

context clues: Very next sentence calls it a "hormone", that "raises the sugar level back up to normal level."

defenition: a hormone secreted by the pancreas that acts in opposition to insulin in the regulation of blood glucose levels.

context clues: sounds like hurried, harry means to annoy i think.
